Installation purpose and result

The Guildhall is the Headquarters of the City of London Corporation and is a World Heritage site which has many buildings including the Great Hall that is shown in the official test report, the Great Hall is a 14th Century Grade 1 Start Listed site where many high profile functions are held. Within the Guildhall complex is situated the West Wing which was built in 1974 and it is this building where the NMR Pipetector has been installed of the domestic hot water pipe work that was experiencing coloured water resulting from issues with internal corrosion Only 3 weeks after the installation of the NMR Pipetector, the Fe content decreased from 6.36mg/l to 0.015 mg/l. It means that the corrosion (FeO (OH)) inside of the pipe work was terminated and reduced to magnetite (Fe3O4) which is not dissolved into the water.
